In this interview, Tim Burton- the director of Alice in Wonderland- was interviewed and the interviewer was Kirsty Lang. The director Tim Burton was talking about reinventing Alice in Wonderland. They also mentioned the content of the movie, the features of film characters and their voice. She stated that Alice in wonderland was the bestselling novel on stage, in first time and she said this story was a very few stories ever produced by using metaphors and images like Johnny Depp who is the mad hatter in the film and Mia Wasikowska as a characters of Alice. After all of these explanations she started to ask questions.
She said that this was seventh film you and Jonny Depp ( he was one of the characters of film as a mad hatter) made together.
One of the questions which were asked to Tim Burton by the interviewer was that what did he bring as an actor that was so special did you think?
He answered this question like that Jonny Depp liked the process of this film and he enjoyed doing it. He also stated that he liked becoming different characters and in the film, the way he looked was really crucial for him so he likes working with Jonny Depp.
Another question, she asked to Tim Burton ‘’Was it true you based on your white screen online Janne Loser.’’ He laughed and replied ‘’Right. All inspirations were a guider for pieces of something. I came up with something in my mind and I never said ’’Okey, that’s it. Then they talked about the rest of the story.

The characters’ names were interesting. How did you choose the name of the film characters?
The website project is the most difficult ones. I did not understand the native speakers’ speech. I listened the interview many more times again and again. At last, I accustomed to their talking and I started to understand their speech. When I was listening the interview, I took notes. This was difficult process for me but I realized that I need to improve my listening skills.
